Westport Home Sale Tops $3.1 Million as September Deeds Show Wide Price Range
Westport recorded 62 property deeds between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, with 29 carrying a sale price so far, ranging from $40,000 to $3.1 million and a median of $689,000. The period's top sale was 15 Richmond Pond Drive, which sold for $3.1 million on Sept. 8. More than 20 of the recorded deeds involved a buyer and seller with the same last name, often tied to a trust, suggesting a notable share of this month's activity was family or trust transfers rather than open-market sales. Prices for the remaining 33 deeds had not yet reached registry data as of this report.
