Waterfront Sale Tops $3.1 Million as Westport Records 54 Deed Transfers
Westport recorded 54 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, though only 23 deeds listed a sale price. Disclosed prices ranged from $92,000 to $3.1 million, with a median of $655,000. The month's top sale was 15 Richmond Pond Drive at $3.1 million, followed by 177 Howland Road at $2.8 million and 1 Puddingstone Lane at $2.1 million. Old County Road saw the most recorded activity of any street, with four transfers. More than half of all recorded deeds carried no disclosed price, many appearing to be trust or family transfers rather than open-market sales.
